2009 YEAR END BLUEWATER BAY SALES STATS
Bluewater Bay, 2009 was better than you might think. The statistics are AVERAGES covering an area from the Mid-Bay Bridge to the Rocky Bayou Bridge.
12.8% more homes sold in 2009 than in 2008, and there are 20.5% fewer homes for sale today than at the end of 2008.
The average sales price increased 1.5%. However, the average price per square foot declined 9.2%.
This is really great information about the market. I read an article online the other day about how the real estate market is going to differ from region to region. How do you think the market is going to be for the Bluewater Bay area in 2010?
Bluewater Bay is a strong community of permanent residents. We have exceptional schools, incredible amenities and well maintained homes. The amenities include the 36 championship golf course, large tennis facility, four swimming pools – two heated and lots of jogging and walking trails.
The homes are holding their value. Many resale homes are beyond the 15 year roof replacement age limit. That is required by most insurance companies.
